Our youth BJJ program is the best in the area. All classes are conducted in a fun and safe environment. Bullying is escalating more and more in schools around the country. BJJ can help your child handle these types of situations through ongoing training that will simulate situations they may encounter with bullies. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches your child to defend themselves or others if a bully situation is encountered. Standing up to a bully does not mean your child must hurt the bully but try to do the right thing to defuse the situation.
At Riverstone Jiu-Jitsu we have a world class program that focuses on training BJJ with the gi (uniform) and without the gi for both sport and self-defense. Wrestling and judo are also supplemented extensively to ensure that all students are capable of taking a person to the ground since BJJ specializes in fighting on the ground. Classes consist of a warm-up followed by a series of techniques being taught and live training at the end of class. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a great way to get in shape while learning a martial art that is definitely proven to be effective in a self-defense situation.

Fundamentals teaches all of the basics to build a good foundation and obtain an concept of what BJJ is. Anyone is allowed to do any class regardless of skill level.
Competition Training
Riverstone Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu offers exclusive competition training for those students competing in jiu jitsu tournaments. We focus on competition training BJJ with the gi (uniform) and without the gi. Competition training is available to all members looking to compete.
Beginner Jiu Jitsu/Self-Defense
Our beginner jiu jitsu/self-defense program is designed to teach women and men how to defend against any attacker, regardless of size. This class offers drills that simulate real life attack situations. You will learn technique and timing to leverage your attacker’s weight against them so you can escape safely.
Wrestling
Our wrestling program is designed to introduce people to wrestling concepts and moves. The class is geared towards novice and beginner wrestlers, but experienced wrestlers are highly encouraged to attend to help tighten habits and techniques. The techniques taught cover many things from takedowns, defense, and mat wrestling. Private Lessons are also available upon request.
Fitness Training
Riverstone Jiu Jitsu offers TRX training, core training and more to mix strength training and cardio. Members can enjoy a quick, hard-hitting workout routine that will leave them looking forward to their next workout.
